The Interview Process

  1. Online Test:Standard Algo questions. But often includes a specific "Data Science" challenge or "Math" challenge depending on role.
  2. Technical Phone Screen:Coding in a shared editor. "Find the first missing positive integer."
  3. Onsite:3-4 rounds. Combination of System Design ("Design a rate limiter") and Math puzzles.

Sample Questions

Algo: The Skyline Problem

"Given a set of buildings (left, right, height), draw the skyline."
(Classic hard problem. Use a sweep-line algorithm or a priority queue).

Math: Expected Flips

"How many coin flips to get two Heads in a row?"
(Answer: 6. Know how to derive this using states).
